The length of time for speech langauge therapy services is dependent on many factors individual to the client. Attendance rate, specific diagnoses, severity and complexity of deficits, carryover into the home, age, frequency of therapy are just a few of the variables that can have a positive or negative impact on the length of time a client requires in receiving speech-language therapy services. However, a client’s progress will be monitored in every session and no client will be kept in speech language therapy services if it is not appropriate.
